One day in autumn, we went to The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
"The Spanish Steps" is famous for the movie
"Roman Holiday". It is a American comedy in 1953. The beautiful actress, Audrey Hepburn starred and Gregory Peck played one journalist. In this movie they ate gelato(Italian ice cream), after that people loved to eat gelato there. But now prohibited.
At the bottom of the Spanish Steps is the "Barcaccia Fountain".
The French church ``Trinita dei Monti'' is located at the top of the Spanish Steps. This church was built in the 16th century.

"Trevi Fountain" is very famous place in Rome. Every time it is very crowded! There are gorgeous sculptures and beautiful building there.
People stand close to the water and then throw coins into the water.
Why?
you throw one coin, you will return to Rome.
Colosseo (Colosseum) built up 80AD. At the old era, graduators battled and hunted many animals (Lions, Giraffes and rhinoceros and so on). It could be violent, but at that time in history people enjoyed to watch the shows.
