In the Province of Salerno of Italy's Campania region, there is the beautiful coast, named Amalfi. It is a 51 mile (31 km) stretched.
During summer season there are many tourists and locals and it is very crowded.
There are some churches there, the most famous one is Amalfi Cathedral.
The first time we went there was the end of October. We wore a light jacket.
A little bit of rain and it was cloudy day, however the coast line was so beautiful!
Also one Italian guy took us on a private tour and we took the elevator to the nice view point.
Vietri is known as one of the famous ceramic towns in Italy.
On the narrow street, there are many ceramic shops. Their designs are unique.
We had lunch at one of famous restaurant in Amalfi.
The guide said some famous American actors and actresses ate here too!
Amalfi coast is very difficult to drive because the street is very narrow and steep. Also some points are not easy to see.
If you're interested in visiting this place, there are some bus/boat tours.
The best season to visit is spring and early autumn, summer is very crowded and hot!
